What You’ll Do as a Caregiver

  • Assist clients with personal care activities, such as oral care, bathing, toilet help, dressing, incontinence care, and grooming
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, and vacuuming
  • Plan, prepare, and serve meals
  • Assist with transfers, walking, or physical activity
  • Provide companionship, cheerfulness, and positive support at all times
  • Other duties, as assigned

Do You Qualify?

Caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Nova Home Care provides all of the necessary training to be a compassionate caregiver.

To be eligible to work as a personal care aide with Nova Home Care, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Live in Indiana, Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, or Connecticut
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Pass a comprehensive set of background checks
  • Be able to work independently and with minimal direct supervision
  • Be able to provide proof of a two-step TB test
  • Be able to lift and push up to 40lbs
